Quiz Competition on Yoga and Physical Fitness  Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, the Department of B. Voc MLT organized a Quiz Competition on Yoga and Physical Fitness on January 28th, 2026, at 11 am in IT Lab 1. The event aimed to promote awareness about yoga and physical fitness among students. Dr. Gazala Pathan, Assistant Professor, B. Voc MLT, organized the competition, which was coordinated by Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh and Ms. Shahin Shaikh. A Google Form with 50 MCQs was shared with the students, and the winner was selected based on their performance. Ms. Muskan Bahadur Shaikh from SY MLT emerged as the winner and was awarded ₹500 cash prize. Yoga and physical fitness play a vital role in maintaining overall health and well-being.  National Girl Child Day Celebration – Exposure Visit on Safe Urban Mobility  On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, the Department of B.Voc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized an exposure visit on 24th January 2026 focusing on safe urban mobility for girl students. The activity was planned with the objective of creating awareness about safe public transportation systems, promoting independent travel, and strengthening confidence among girl students.  The exposure visit commenced at Swargate Metro Station, where the participating students were guided about the online and digital ticketing system, basic metro etiquette, and various safety features and facilities available for passengers.  FREE HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP AT ZILLA PARISHAD SCHOOL, KANHE The Department of B.Voc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) successfully organized a free health check-up camp at Zilla Parishad School, Kanhe. The camp was conducted for students of Classes V, VI, and VII with the aim of promoting health awareness and encouraging early health screening among school children. The services provided included blood group determination and blood pressure measurement. A total of 120 students benefited from the camp. The Department sincerely acknowledges the valuable guidance and support of the Principal, Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, and the Nodal Officer, Dr. Farooq Shaikh, whose encouragement played a key role in the successful organization of the activity.
