Seminar on Career Guidance

Under the able guidance of principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, faculty of Arts, Science & B.Voc organized a 'Career Guidance and Counseling' session for Third year and PG final year students today, on 16th January 2025. The session was graced by the presence of Hon. Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, Trustee of Poona College, who served as the esteemed resource person.





The session commenced with recitation of the holy Quran by Dr. Ahmad Shamshad sir followed by Welcome address by Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh sir and an introduction of Hon'ble Dr. Hanif Lakdawala by Dr. Amjad Shaikh, Vice-Principal of Poona College.



Dr. Lakdawala provided students with valuable insights into career planning, future opportunities, and the skills required to excel in today’s competitive job market. His expertise and experience were instrumental in motivating students and addressing their queries regarding career challenges and pathways.




The event witnessed active participation from students, who appreciated the guidance and clarity provided by Dr. Lakdawala.

The session concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Afreen Ahmad and the program was coordinated by Dr. Shahid Jamal Ansari, Dr. Mujeeb Shaikh and Mr. Farooq Shaikh. The whole session was compered by Dr. Zoheb Hasan.
