Visit to Tayyabia Orphanage
The Department of B.Voc Medical Laboratory Technology, under the guidance of Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, organized an outreach activity at Tayyabia Orphanage, Camp on February 17th, 2026. The event aimed to provide financial support and spread joy among the orphans, while also sensitizing students to the importance of giving back to the community.
Aims and Objectives:
To provide financial support to the students of the orphanage by distributing stationery materials
To spread awareness about the importance of education among the orphans
To provide students of B.Voc MLT with an opportunity to interact with the orphans and understand their needs
To inculcate a sense of social responsibility among the students
Dr. Gazala Pathan's guest lecture, emphasized the significance of education in shaping one's future. She highlighted how education can open doors to new opportunities, improve critical thinking, and foster personal growth.
25 students from B.Voc MLT participated in the visit, distributing stationery materials and chocolates to the children. The event was organized by Dr. Gazala Pathan, with support from Dr. Farooque Shaikh and Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh.
This outreach program provided students with a valuable learning experience, allowing them to make a positive impact on the lives of the orphans.
