Health check–up camp

September, 2023: The B.VOC MLT Poona College of Arts,
Science and Commerce has organized medical Health camp for the check-up of CBC
(Complete blood count) and eye screening for the girls and boys of MBA, in the B.VOC MLT Lab with the help of SY
MLT students along with faculty members Ms. Shaheen Shaikh and Ms. Farheenshama
Shaikh.
The
camp started at 10:00 am. We have divided the whole process in five steps
including registration, blood sample collection, Eye screening, sample
processing and Google form filling desk. Total 40 students along with faculty
members from department of MBA came for the Health Check up. Registration and Google
form filling was done by the students of SY MLT Nusrat jahan. Hafsa, Faizal,
and Mehek have taken the blood sample of students. Eye screening was done by
Sumayya and Tayyaba. Lastly blood sample processed by Fardin Maniyar. All the
SY MLT students have successfully contributed.
The
camp was successfully conducted with the help of Farooque Shaikh (Nodal
officer, BVOC) who not only helped in the arrangement of stock material but
also supported in creating the Google forms for students and also guided the
students to follow the standard operating procedure while collecting the blood
sample.
The programme was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh and Ms. Shahin Shaikh, with special gratitude extended to Dr. Vinod Parde (Coordinator, BVOC MLT) for their substantial support.
In the middle of the programme HOD
from various department have visited the lab in the presence of Mr. Farooque
Shaikh (Nodal officer, BVOC) and Dr. Vinod
parade (Coordinator, BVOC MLT).
Brief information about each
machine including Cell counter, Electrolyte, Coagulation machine, Biochemistry
analyzer, ESR, Urine analyzer and incubator was given by Ms. Shaheen Shaikh
(Assistant Professor B.voc. MLT) and Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh (Assistant
Professor B.voc. MLT)
The programme concluded successfully at 2:00 pm,
during which our students efficiently managed the whole camp and used their
skill in operating the required equipment. In total, 40 students underwent CBC
(haemoglobin) testing during this event.
