FREE HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP, KANHE VILLAGE 


The Department of B.Voc Medical Laboratory Technology, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a successful free health check-up camp on January 10, 2025, at ZP School, Kanhe Village. Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh and Vice Principal Dr. Amjad Shaikh, the camp aimed to promote health awareness among school students.



A team of 8 students from the Medical Laboratory Technology department, along with faculty members, conducted the health check-up for 80 students. The camp began with a speech by Ms. Shahin Shaikh, Assistant Professor, B.Voc MLT, emphasizing the importance of health, hemoglobin, and a balanced diet. The health check-ups included blood pressure and blood group checks.



The objective of the camp was to educate students about the importance of maintaining good health and to encourage them to adopt healthy habits. The camp was successful in achieving its objective, with 80 students benefiting from the health check-ups. The students were also educated about the importance of health and nutrition.








The camp was organized by Ms. Shahin Shaikh and Dr. Akbar Pathan, and coordinated by Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh and Ms. Nikhat Hurzuk. The success of the camp highlights the importance of such initiatives in promoting health awareness among school students. The Department of B.Voc Medical Laboratory Technology plans to continue such initiatives to encourage students to adopt healthy habits.
