Poona College, Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) Medical Lab Technology

                                                           Health check–up camp 27 th September, 2023: The B.VOC MLT Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce has organized free medical Health camp for the check-up of CBC ( Complete blood count) and eye screening specially for the girls of   BA,   in the B.VOC MLT Lab with the help of SY MLT students along with faculty members Ms. Shaheen Shaikh and Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh. The camp started at sharp 9:15 am. We have divided the whole process in five steps including registration, blood sample collection, Eye screening, sample processing unit and Google form filling desk. Total 65 students from BA came for the Health Check up.   Registration and Google form filling was done by the students of SY MLT Salina and Tasmiya. Hafsa, Faizal, and Mehek have taken the blood sample of students. Eye screening was done by Sumayya and Tayyaba. Lastly blood sample processed by Fardin Maniyar and Soniya. The camp started at 10:00 am. We have divided the whole process in five steps including registration, blood sample collection, Eye screening, sample processing and Google form filling desk. Total 40 students along with faculty members from department of MBA came for the Health Check up. Registration and Google form filling was done by the students of SY MLT Nusrat jahan.                                                             Health Check-up camp DETAILED REPORT   9 th September, 2023: The B.VOC MLT Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce has organized free medical Health camp for the check-up of CBC ( Complete blood count) and eye screening specially for the girl,  in the B.VOC MLT Lab with the help of FY and SY MLT students along with faculty members Ms. Shaheen Shaikh and Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh.   The camp started at 9:30 am. We have divided the whole process in five steps including registration, blood sample collection, Eye screening, sample processing and Google form filling desk. Total 45 members including students and staff from BCA and BCS came for the Health Check up. Registration was done by the student of SY MLT Alfiya Shaikh.                                                      Visit to the Jehangir Hospital 2 nd September, 2023: The B.VOC MLT Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized a visit to the Jehangir hospital along with faculty member Ms. Shaheen Shaikh and Ms. Farheenshama Shaikh with a batch of 32 students. The visit started at 11:30 am. At the reception we were guided by the team member of pathology laboratory Mr Sudhir where we introduce our students and divided into a group of 10 students and visited the different departments of hospital. The department includes pathology lab (Haematology, Clinical, Biochemistry, and Immunology), Histopathology, Microbiology and Blood bank. A detailed explanation regarding each department, sample collection, testing was given during the visit. Our first batch of students started from Blood bank. Mrs. Uma explained the information’s about FFP, SDP, and RDP separation also about machine, temperature, and storage of the separated blood bags.
